For those folks in New York, The Japan Society is doing a Takeshi Kitano
series and a New Japanese Cinema series. _Kids Return_ has already been
shown, but Takeshi's _Getting Any?_ and _A Scene at the Sea_ are still to
come. (Well, _Getting Any?_ is tomorrow night, but anyway....)

The Society is located at 333 East 47th Street (between 1st and 2nd
Avenues), admission is $7.50 ($5 for students and seniors).

The schedule is as follows:

Getting Any? (10/29)
A Scene at the Sea (11/1)
The Girl of the Silence (11/8)
The River of Reconciliation (11/12)
Real Tour w/ Sleepy Heads (11/22)
Village of Dreams (11/25)
Okaeri w/ Video Answering Machine (12/6)
Sleeping Man (12/13)
Haru (12/17)
