Re Transtextuality, if this is such, features in TP are in
the Masque of the red death, quite strikingly   the dwarf who moves in
a surreal world, the themes of possession etc are similar in
atmosphere/intention. On seeing Red Death I was left with the
conviction that Lynch had watched it carefully long before Twin Peaks
was made
