As a bit of historically inaccuracy, the Eisenstein reference may not be all that important...but it does tutn what may or may not be a significant line of dialogue into mere name-dropping?...Of course we know better than to expect complete accuracy from a film like this...but still,I'd hate to think that a new generation of film students will come to believe that Murnau just stood by while half of his crew and cast were killed.....
