This discussion has been most reassuring to me.  When I said I
hadn't been able to tell much difference between video and film--
except for the letter-boxing aspect--I meant it!  I think that
most of the movies I've seen that were shot on videotape must have
been shot with this newer generation of video film.
 
No one ever answered my question about music videos: video or film?
