I guess this discussion had my mind working.  There was an interesting horror
 film made in 1963 with Claire Bloom and Julie Harris.  It was titled _The
 Haunting_.  Directed by Robert Wise, it is perhaps one of the best  of the
 gothics.  Wonderful camera work, suspense, and quirky characters.
