There seems to have been little public or even corporate
celebration/commemoration of the Centennial of Cinema in the US.  There
have been notable film festivals and so on in Canada, France, England, but
nothing really comparable in the US?
 
Is Hollywood planning something more substantial in 1996, or later this year?
