        Sandy, I didn't catch any reference to Dil being black in "The
        Crying Game," but Karen Hanus responded to my posting by
        pointing out that Jude refers to Dil as the "black chick"
        when talking with Fergus. So that seems to make the connection.
        I don't know why I missed that line altogether. I did find
        the accents often hard to understand, though. And I was often
        bored during the film, frankly.  Ernie.
