ENTERTAINMENT AND DEMOCRACY

As we meet in the nation's capital, this panel seeks to explore the
inter-relationships between contemporary democracy and entertainment.
Papers should address, through one approach or another, the means by
which popular participation in public issues has been/is/can be
conducted within the media and spheres of entertainment. Please send
