Try checking out the LA based company FILMLOOK. They tweak the gray scales and contrasts as well as change the motion dynamics of a video source to make it look closer to 24 fps. They will even send you a free demo tape.

Subject: film look?
I need to know if it is possible to get a film look from a video source
using the popular nonlinear editing programs like adobe priemier. I have
heard that it is possible but i am not sure if the effect is remotley
realistic. If anybody has any information on this I would be very intrested
in knowing.
