Try checking out the LA based company FILMLOOK. They tweak the gray scales and contrasts as well as change the motion dynamics of a video source to make it look closer to 24 fps. They will even send you a free demo tape. I need to know if it is possible to get a film look from a video source using the popular nonlinear editing programs like adobe priemier. I have heard that it is possible but i am not sure if the effect is remotley realistic. If anybody has any information on this I would be very intrested in knowing. ---- Online resources for film/TV studies may be found at ScreenSite http://www.sa.ua.edu/screensite ---- To sign off SCREEN-L, e-mail [log in to unmask] and put SIGNOFF SCREEN-L in the message.
