Incidently a print of VIVRE SA VIE is available for inexpensive rental
from EM GEE films (approx. $75; don't have the catalog in front of me).
The print's in decent shape. I used it just two weeks ago.
An another suggestion re Godard: if possible, incorporate some of his
'80s video work (e.g., NUMERO DEUX) and the post-'68 Dziga Vertov
Group films.
