Gayle, did you happen to notice that when women writers
were saluted for having written stories upon which great
films are based Margaret Mitchell, author of "Gone With the
Wind," was not mentioned? I doubt the Hollywood crowd could
have forgotten "GWTW," rather, I suspect, it was ignored because
of "PC," i.e. "political correctness," the new MacCarthyism.
"GWTW," after all, took place in the South during times of
slavery and therefore is not to be mentioned these days.
Never mind the fact that it is a good story. Ernie.
