Gayle, did you happen to notice that when women writers were saluted for having written stories upon which great films are based Margaret Mitchell, author of "Gone With the Wind," was not mentioned? I doubt the Hollywood crowd could have forgotten "GWTW," rather, I suspect, it was ignored because of "PC," i.e. "political correctness," the new MacCarthyism.
