 That would be me, Andrea, but Lisa's acknowledgement is a
 (flattering) surprise to me.  I haven't seen the book yet...
 I know Lisa from graduate school days and we've kept in touch over the
 years.  She's in Ohio this semester on a temporary appointment; her
 main base is in Tucson.
          One should respect public opinion insofar as is necessary to
          avoid starvation and keep out of prison, but anything that
          goes beyond this is voluntary submission to an unnecesssary
