I'd check the year-end issues of Weekly Variety on microfilm (actually run
in the first week of January) --- usually full of top ten lists for the
previous year. Alternatively, check out the International Motion Picture
Almanac, or the Film Daily Almanac, published yearly by, I think, Quigly.
