Media Arts. Department Head. The University of Arizona, College of Fine
Arts, Tucson, AZ. Head a dynamic unit specializing in the study of media
cultures, institutions, and productions (film, video and new media); serve
as member of the College of Fine Arts Executive Committee.  Salary
competitive.

Qualifications: Distinguished record of scholarly research/creative work to
qualify for tenure and rank of full professor; demonstrated administrative
skill and experience; terminal degree.

Reponsible for all administrative aspects of the department including:
providing leadership of and advocacy for a diverse and energetic faculty;
financial development; building upon innovative curriculum; promoting
interdisciplinary collaboration.

Review of nominations and applications begins Feb. 1, 2001 and will
continue until position is filled. Preferred start date July 1, 2001. Send
