The Studies in French Cinema Conference this year (Wed 9 April, Institut Français, London) is devoted to pre-1940 cinema. Speakers include Elizabeth Ezra, Jeff Kline, Phil Powrie, Keith Reader, Ginette Vincendeau. We have papers on:
