There was an 8-part PBS series called "Television" which ran
originally from 1/88 thru 3/88 and repeated in the late fall of
1989.  Episode titles were: Live Pictures/Comedy/The Race For
Television/News: The Power of Pictures/News: Point of View/Drama/
Fun and Games/The Promise of Television. Edwin Newman narrated.
