I taught an undergraduate course called "The
Production of Media Culture" at Temple's Film & Media
Arts program last year. Using a cultural studies based
appraoch, it covered topic like construction of race &
gender, media & ideology, Hollywood hegemony, & the
effects of late capitalism's merger mania on cultural
content and control.
