Dear Murray and Barbara -- Thanks for the info. about the Theramin.  I'm not
sure where I learned it -- if it was in an interview with Hitch (the old
Schickel film from 20 years ago), or in the Truffaut book or somewhere.  But
I am glad to have the error rectified before I made a mistake in front of
400 students (not like it's any better to err in front of 400 colleagues!).
