The Society for Animation Studies announces the competition for its Fourth
Annual Essay Contest to recognize outstanding student scholarship.
 
First Prize:  US$600
Second Prize: US$400
 
Made possible by a grant from the Motion Picture Screen Cartoonist, IATSE
Local 839, in North Hollywood California.
 
Deadline:  postmarked by 1 July 1994
 
Qualifications:  Enrolled as undergrad or grad students AND members of the
S.A.S. (student membership:  US$20).
 
All submission must be double-spaced, typewritten and should not exceed
5,000 words.  Please submit three copies.
