I'll be in Phoenix for the next two months (driving west on 5 June) and
won't be able to access my BITNET/Internet mail except by long distance
phone call. Because of that and because they delete my unread mail here
every two weeks, I'm passing SCREEN-L coordination over to the
all-too-capable hands of Patrick Leary. SCREEN-L business matters
should be sent to him until 1 August 1991:

PLEARY@IUBACS (BITNET)
[log in to unmask] (Internet)

I may still be reached via e-mail, but not through regular channels. On
GEnie, I am

J.BUTLER27

On CompuServe (which I check infrequently; hate those hourly charges) I
am

76346,650

You can even send mail to CompuServe from Internet, but it's a dicey
proposition. Sometimes the gateway goes down for days at a time. Still,
if you want to experiment with that you can send mail to

[log in to unmask]

But don't count on it.

All for now, cyber-cats. I'll see you in August.

In our country we have those three unspeakably
precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of
conscience, and the prudence never to practice
          either.
