In response to the question about esoteric animation, Bill Brand's piece is
still visible when crossing from Brooklyn to Manhattan on the D and Q
trains, though much defaced by graffiti.
I also remember seeing animated cigarette ads, much in the style of Oskar
Fischinger's Muratti Privat, on the Montreal Metro in the early 1970s.
