TITLE:   PROGRAM COORDINATOR:  FILM DEPARTMENT AND BROOKLYN COLLEGE ARTS
COUNCIL.
 
SALARY:   $29,931-$45,672.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor s degree plus 4 years of directly related
experience.  Preferred:  knowledge of film production and exhibition
equipment; administrative experience in film programs; excellent writing and
verbal skills; strong interpersonal skills; some background in film history;
knowledge of fine and performing arts.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
--Report to Chairperson of the Film Department
--maintain and enlarge professional contacts
--establish and manage fundraising programs, internships, festivals, cultural
programs, film series
--arrange student film screenings in theaters
--edit, write, publish, disseminate brochures and newsletters
--manage high school student recruitment and film festival
--develop grant proposals with faculty
--order film equipment
--coordinate submissions to film festivals
--advise Student Film Society
--develop and maintain websites, data bases, etc.
--assist in department administration and counseling
--serve as coordinator and staff to Arts Council
