Our Department Dead just shared this little advertisement for our PhD

*Cultural Studies & Comparative Literature Graduate Studies at Stony Brook
University*

The Department of Cultural Studies & Comparative Literature (CSCL) offers
unique interdisciplinary graduate programs (Ph.D. and M.A.) in Cultural
Studies
<http://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/cscl/graduate/CulturalStudies.html>
and Comparative
Literature
<http://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/cscl/graduate/ComparativeLiterature.html>.
Students in CSCL are mentored to engage with and analyze a diverse range of
contemporary cultural forms and practices, including film and literature
from transnational, transhistorical, and transmedial perspectives.

The graduate programs and their curriculum reflect the diverse backgrounds
of the CSCL faculty
<http://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/cscl/people/cscl%20faculty.html>, who
bring unique training and skills across Cultural Studies, Critical Theory,
Comparative and World Literatures, Film Studies, Migration and Mobility
Studies, and Postcolonial Studies. CSCL serves as a hub for the comparative
study of contemporary cultures, literatures, film, and media at Stony Brook
University, helping to prepare teaching researchers for the challenges of
higher education in our immediate future.

Here is a link to our Admissions page
<http://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/cscl/graduate/cscl%20graduate%20admissions.html>
on which you will find instructions, deadlines, and a link to the
ApplyYourself portal. When you access ApplyYourself, just select Program &
Degree = Cultural Analysis & Theory, then Specialization = either Cultural
Studies or Comparative Literature. If you encounter difficulties, please
contact Mary Moran-Luba <[log in to unmask]>, our Graduate
