In my efforts to minimize my crap intake, I have found myself watching less
and less TV. I fear that I am missing some really good television. For
example, I have heard that "Fly With Me" was a show not to miss. I did not get
to see it though. I would like to hear what shows you think I should not be
missing, so I CAN see the best that is on the air. Please give the name of
the show as well as a brief discription of why I should watch it.
Here's my list:
1. Sienfeld. Modern Humor. Very quick paced. A good summary of life today.
2. Northern Exposure. A smart comedy. These people COULD actually exist.
3. Star Trek 1 & 2. Personal Preference. Good quality if you can stand the
science-fiction. Not for everyone.
4. Simpsons. What real sitcoms should try to be.
5. Tribeca. Robert DiNero lives up to his name as producer of this gem.
6. Mad About You. Paul Riser is fantastic on his own, but with Helen Hunt
the timing is perfect. Saturday will kill it, so catch
it before it is gone.
7. Batman Adventures. Another personal preference. I am a fan of any good
animation, and also a fan of golden age comics. But
definatly not for all.
8. L.A. Law. It doesn't suck anymore.
I hope I hear about some good stuff.
