In my last message advertising that Internet address for four
media libraries, I forgot to mention how to log in.  (Thanks
for your message, Susan Stonehill!)  After you get into
 
        media.avs.uakron.edu
 
type USER at the user name prompt.  That should solve any
problems.
 
Yes, the holdings at Penn State Audio-Visual Services can
also be found on <lias.psu.edu>, which is the PSU university
library card catalog system.  BUT the information for films
and videos on that system is over a year old.  Use the Akron
address if you want to see more up-to-date information.  Also,
the library people haven't attached subject codes to our media,
so you have to search by title only when using the PSU university
library system.
