Haven't seen it yet, but the recent Walter Hill, Bruce
Willis film, "Last Man Standing" is a version of Hammett's
"Red Harvest" (clear from the trailers, and, I believe, so
credited on screen). Too bad, since Bertolucci had always
wanted to make a film of it.
