Intensive Filmmaking Workshops
REEL TRADING is pleased to announce the introduction of "Reel
Training" at the suggestion of many of our camera customers.
POINT AND SHOOT ONE:: CAMERA AND LIGHTING FUNDAMENTALS
Dates: Saturday October 5 and Saturday October 12 (Maximum of five
participants)
A Sunday October 6 and Sunday October 13 class will form only if
Saturday fills up.
Location: Studio in the vicinity of Union Square (14th St.),
Manhattan, NYC
Cost: $225, includes all materials
Prerequisite: A desire to learn filmmaking. Workshop appropriate for
those with no as well as those with some experience.
Instructor: Luke Geissbuhler
Luke is a working Director of Photography with experience as an A.C.,
Gaffer, camera operator, and special effects designer. His work has
appeared on Comedy Central, Lifetime Network, Swiss Television, TNT.
He has worked with such notables as Dee-Light, David Byrne, Paul
Schrader, Lifetime Network, Carl Zeiss USA, IBM, Metrostars
Professional Soccer, Abe Schrader, R/Greenberg Associates, and many
more. Luke has worked as Director of Photography on six features and
was Director of Photography as well as producer of the upcoming
documentary "Alaskan Holiday." He is well versed in all aspects of
Independent Film Production. We are purposefully keeping class small
so as to focus on the needs and concerns of each individual
participant.
The Work Shop consists of two full days of hands on experience and
instruction.

Point and Shoot II: "Shooting a Narrative" will pick up where will
pick up where Point and Shoot I leaves off and is designed for those
with a working knowledge of camera and lighting fundamentals. Dates
to be announced.
