Jay -- i thought the story went that Traven was lurking about on the set of
Sierra Madre. Or was that Rut Maret? i keep getting my enigmas mixed up. i
sort of always liked that letter that Traven sent to Playboy about an article
they ran on Pynchon. i think T accused P of copycat anonymity. (i think it was
