Regarding the discussion on film schools, it is possible to view
student productions that have been submitted to the National Assoc. of
College Broadcasters for satellite transmission on UNetwork. This is
a nonprofit group of college TV and radio stations, hdqtrd at Brown.
Perhaps your institution already participates. NACB is always on the
lookout for good productions - this way the membership gets to see
what other students are producing. If you'd like to check out the
feed, it is Thursdays, noon-2:00 EST, Telstar 302, transponder 3,
channel 5, unscrambled. There is usually a half-hour of Ithaca College
undergraduate films included. On tomorrow's feed, there are two
productions from Columbia College, a half hour from Southern Utah
State and, at 1:30, three Ithaca films.
If you would like to know more about NACB, you can contact NACB
