MFIND--which is a simple text file with special search software.
SANDDS MOVIE GUIDE--a true database, though the number of listed films is
limited (especially before you register it).

I found both of these listed as MOVIE.ZIP in sharware catalogs, though I
don't know where you could get them through "anonymous" FTP. You might
 try the ARCHIE database.

Also, on Compuserve I once found a text file listing of all films
released in 1990. It was copyrighted by Eric Carter (Compuserv #
76050,3563--which I believe you can reach through Internet by
addressing [log in to unmask]) and I haven't seen it posted
elsewhere. It's a handy file. Lists all films, their stars, directors,
release dates and provides a brief paragraph on each--plus misc other
 info.

Don't know if he's done one for 1991.
