Dear Colleague,
The latest issue of Projections: The Journal for Movies and Mind has just
been published. This issue begins with an interview with director Lars von
Trier who discusses his most recent film Antichrist. Continuing a theme of
inquiry on the exchange between film and mind, this issue takes a focus on
contemporary film theory and audition, the meaning of characters within
films as symbols, and the appearance of the dream in film as a lens for film
analysis. This issue also includes a review essay and a book review section.
