A few months ago I contacted a certain Mr. Porter by e-mail who graciously sent
me an enormous file of information he has collected on this film and the
historic facts it is based on. He has meticulously organized the material in the
form of a FAQ file. Very impressive and enjoyable reading. He can be reached at
