Hello everyone.

I am starting my master's thesis work this summer and I have decided on the
topic of adolescent lesbians/lesbianism in film. What led me in this direction
was seeing the wonderful film, "The Incredible True Story of Two Girls in
Love." As my approach, I am using Terri Castle's "The Apparitional Lesbian."

The information, then, that I am looking for from the members of Screen-L are
films that they are familiar with that deal with adolescent
lesbians/lesbianism either in a straight-forward manner (pun intended!) or in
an "apparitional" manner.

I am already aware of "Heavenly Creatures," "Higher Learning," "The Children's
Hour" and "Sister My Sister."

Second question, does anyone know if "The Well of Lonliness" was made into a
film? I have suspicion that is was, but I have not found reference to it.

Third question, does anyone know how I can get a hold of a BBC televison show?
"Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit" was filmed for the BBC, but my local video
stores and libraries have not been able to find a way for me to get it.

Thank you in advance.
Vanessa Wayne
