With all of the discussion about Resevoir Dogs and taping from TV, it made
me curious about copyright and artists.  What do people like Sherrie
Levine or Andy Warhol (when he was alive) do when appropriating images
for their art.  Or to bring it back to film for this lists purposes, what
about found footage filmmakers such as Bruce Conner and the like.  Does
anyone know details about these types of situations?
