A good way to get an internship is to get on the phone.  Call
up production companies and tell them that you would like to get an
internship.  You will have better luck with smaller, low-budget
companies than with the big boys.  You probably will not get paid,
but you will have experience.  Try getting a set PA job.  You'd
be suprised how many peoplle's eyes light up when you say you'll
work for free.
