Dear all,

This week in the IAMHIST Blog, Sigrun Lehnert (Hamburg, Germany) writes on 'From Russian pioneers of the 1920s to German post-war newsreels and television':

https://iamhist.net/2023/01/russian-film-pioneers-1920s-german-post-war-newsreels-television/

We have three strands of publication available in the IAMHIST Blog, the main strand being for research, the second 'A Day at the Archives', which is based on researchers experience of visiting repositories and archivists experiences of working in them, and finally 'Detectives in the Archives' which publishes pieces on particular documents that can be found in repositories and how they can be used for media history research (for example scripts, budgets, oral testimony). If you would like to publish a piece in the IAMHIST Blog, please do contact me at [log in to unmask]

Best wishes,

Llewella
