though i appreciate your thoughtful commentary, i hardly believe that
moviegoers, despite their ever-increasing ignorance, would believe that
Bernard Shaw and CNN's appearance in LW would be anything less than a paid
cameo appearance - despite the blurred distinctions (ie - less blatant use
of CNN and BS because they are reporting on something that LW portrays as
'truth' within the confinds of their narrative using serious 'news' tones
rather than a tone of obvious farce).  LW is fiction, through and through:
I tend to believe that audiences would remember that and therefore not take
issue with CNN being part of the production.
