Dear Angel,
    the animation was done by two graduate students at the
"Hochschule fuer Film & Fernsehen" (University for Film and
Television) in Munich. They won an Oscar for it, I think in
1991 or 1992, for the best animation. Sorry that I don't
recall their name either, but my best bet for you would be
to look up the Oscar winners in these years. They should
have all the info there.
