Jim Wehmeyer (and anyone else teaching a course on "representations
of war in the 20th century") would do well to look at a recent
book by Barry Kroll called _Teaching Hearts and Minds_. About
his experience teaching courses in VietNam. He uses a lot of
film, TV footage, slides, music and so on. I've worked with him
on this course and can offer only the highest recommendations for
both his work and his book.

p.s. well, maybe it's not all that recent--1992, I believe.
