1999 CINEMEDIA GRIERSON LECTURE IS ONLINE
The transcript of David Puttnam's 1999 Cinemedia Grierson Lecture is now
available in a number of formats. Held last November in Melbourne, the
lecture
addressed the issue of screen literacy and cultural morality in the
digital era and is available online at http://www.cinemedia.net/grierson
, in printed form or on video for loan through the Cinemedia Access

Victoria and the National Library of Australia.  Previous
lecturers have included Dr Patricia Edgar (1979), producer Joan Long

1966) (1985), and barrister, writer and broadcaster Geoffrey Robertson
(1987).
