I think it's an excellent idea.  I would muchly prefer seeing
the List extend its reach than watch it try to be a
close-knit, limited entry fraternity/sorority/book club.
The ultimate test of this List is the professional attitude and expectations
for those who use it, subscribers or not.
Professionalism will be a constant concern -- and should be --
and that shall set this List apart from so many others.
