A colleague who is not on the list has asked me to post a request for
information about a video evidently produced by Video Asia in New York,
although she has been unable to locate this company through directory
assistance and other sources.

The video, in chinese with english subtitles, is titled "Presenting
'River Elegy'" and features excerpts from a 1988 TV documentary on
economic conditions in China from 1912-1949. The director is Xia Jun, the
producers are Wang Song and Guo Baoxing.

If anyone knows about how to contact Video Asia or has information about
the availability and pricing of this video, please e-mail Christine
Bunting directly at [log in to unmask] If it is more convenient for
you to respond to me, I will pass the information on to her.

Thanks in advance for any help.
