I had decided to ignore the developments of this discussion, the
flaming, the disappointments, etc. and I had advised my friend Donna
Cunningham to do the same. However, after reading her posting this
morning I realized that her effort to go out and research this topic,
come back and put it all into a format where we could learn something,
was a laudable one. The two replies from Steve and Frank also convinced
me that she had not done all that work in vain.
Now, this petulant paragraph from Denise is really something I
cannot ignore. Denise, I was really sad when I read your invectives,
sad, even more than angry, but today you have really produced some evidence of
stupidity. Don't you realize that your infantile one liners do not
measure up to the kind of serious work that Donna brought to the list for
us? Don't you see that Steve's comments were appreciative of the time
she put into that endeavor and her ability to get us out of the
silly flaming that are not conducive to any intelligent discussion?
Which is exactly where your posting pushed us back into. To quote Frank
(from memory, sorry): while Donna goes to the library to do research,
John flames off the top of his head. It's the 59 cents question again.
        Get a clue, girl.
