The Seagram Museum, one of our local museums, is doing a display on the
history of the cocktail this fall and would like to incorporate
films which feature cocktails, bars, speakeasies, types and trends in
social drinking from the 1920s through the 1950s. Some obvious titles
spring to mind like CASABLANCA, CASINO ROYAL, BLONDE VENUS, LOST WEEKEND,
ST LOUIS BLUES. Any other suggestions will be welcomed especially from
the 1930s. They want to illustrate changing perceptions over time.
