<< A Canadian Broadcasting Corp. documentary from the late 60s that may be
titled _Yippies of Yorkville_ ends with a long guitar solo by a woman
sitting
on a rooftop with two men. Sorry to be vague...I can't find the reference
right
now and only caught part of it in a recent re-broadcast. Anyway, I remember
thinking about how unusual it is to see women playing the guitar.
There is also a fiction film from the 1980s in which a teenaged girl
jilted
by her boyfriend ad libs the words to a song while playing the guitar at a
house party. "Joe lies, Joe lies..." is the chorus. Anyone remember this
film?

It's called Say Anything.
