THE THIEF (1952), starring Ray Milland and directed by Russell
Rouse.

The entire film is dialogue-less, though it does use music and
sound effects. Very strange.

Although this isn't quite a "modern" film (if by that we're talking
about the past 20 years), it's such an oddity for a Hollywood release
that I thought it warranted a mention.
