THIS/ABILITY celebrates a rich, powerful disability culture
while it critques the representation of disability in the
academy and mainstream. The conference features academic
panels and participatory workshops and roundtables examining
aesthetic, conceptual, and metaphorical representations of
disability alongside the practical and political issues of
living with disability every day.
