There is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) movie of the week
titled 'DANGEROUS OFFENDER' which follows the true story of a woman
declared to be a dangerous offender and therefore was allowed to be held
in prison indefinitely.
 
'THE GREAT ESCAPE' is also based on actuall events that occured in WWII.
 
'COOL HAND LUKE' is also a great "escape" film and Paul Newman is great.
